There are several ways to illuminate standard keyboards such as: selective illumination on the surface of the keyboard (eg company logo), illumination of selected pictograms, keys, symbols on the keys, etc. It is also possible to leave some transparent points in a keyboard that are illuminated by the device’s inside light.
